Holter Monitoring
A portable electrocardiographic (EKG) monitor that
is worn for 24 hours. A holter monitor continuously records the electrical
activity of the heart and may be used to diagnose cardiac arrhymias.
Patient keeps diary of symptomatic events which then can be correlated
with electrocardiographic reading.
