Electrocardiograms (EKG)

A 12 lead wire system that records and interprets the electrical activity of the heart. An EKG may be done as a baseline during initial evaluation of the patient, prior to surgery, or as a follow up in response to medical or pharmacological therapy in patients with known heart disease.
