Nurse Practitioner
Claire works along side our physicians in providing the best cardiac care possible. She has been a registered nurse since 2000. Claire worked at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago for three years after becoming an RN and for the past 3 years she has been working at Rush Copley. Her nursing experience is in intensive care and the cardiac catheterization lab.
Claire became a Nurse Practitioner in early 2006. As a nurse practitioner Claire functions much like a physician, she provides a broad range of health care services. Assessing the patient, arriving at a diagnosis, and prescribing treatments and medication are all duties she performs under the supervision of a physician. Patient education is a high priority for Claire, believing that a knowledgeable patient is a healthy patient.
Claire has been married for 4 years.. She is an avid bicyclist and she also loves quilting in her spare time.
